You are doing what i explained but you cant see the models. mdl files into the deepest folder in that specific folder in the models folder.ĭo the same thing for the materials folder. HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PEOPLES i have been getting a lot of question on a a step in this. For models that are under the same folder name as the first model, go into that model's folder and copy paste the dx90. Do the same thing for the materials, except also create a models folder inside the backup folder's materials folder, then paste the folder with the materials inside your backup folder's materials models folder.ħ. Go into the following path: folder/models, and then in that models folder, copy paste the folder inside to your models folder in your backup workshop.Ħ. Go into your downloads or wherever you have your models you want to have in sfm.ĥ.
In your backup folder, create a new folder called models, and a 2nd folder called materials.Ĥ. Create a new folder and name it whatever you want to use as your backup folderģ. You can transplant the materials(or models or sounds or whatever) from one game into the materials folder for the game you are using hammer with(ex copy all CSS materials into the gmod/materials folder) but normally it just makes better sense to start with CSS's hammer (in its bin folder) and load what you need from other games into is CSS. You will need this addon from the Workshop, which will allow you to browse the 'Legacy Addons' folder, where you will find your content. Go into the following path: Programfiles (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/SourceFilmmaker/gameĢ. file, simply extract the files to your gmod addons folder.
